Ky-Mani Marley is one of the most popular and richest Reggae Singer who was born on the 26th February, 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. He was in Shottas with another singer Wyclef. Ky-Mani joined Shang Records and recorded his 1996 debut album With Father Like Son. This was followed by numerous singles like Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap was a perfect fit (remix) as well as Sensimelia. They all contributed to Ky-Mani's reputation as a brand new reggae singer. Ky-Mani, along with Praswell and Fugees (as part of Avenue) is a huge rendition of a cover by Eddy Grant called Electric Avenue was released in the year 1997. Marley appeared in Midem (international music showcase) during its time at Miami at the beginning of its run. Marley performed a set live at the Cameo Theatre, which was broadcast by the Caribbean News Agency across 36 countries. Marley was the focus of bidding battles.
